![[MENU_Load_00030.png]] #### Introduction Hi, This is a work in progress. I'm putting out a very rough version of the site, since I think it's an excellent item browser, and people are digging into Shadow of the Erdtree. A lot is missing or has filler text, but there are three primary ways you can use the site - As an item browser, with in-game icon and descriptions. - Like a wiki, with backlinks - Discovering Lore Videos Please note all the Shadow of the Erdtree entries are currently separated into their own "SOTE" folder. I'm prioritizing that content, so this makes it easier. Eventually they'll all be combined. #### Item Browser All of the items from SOTE have notes with a high-def icon, the in-game description, and are completely searchable through the box on the top-left. I'm still working on all of the items for the base game Going to [[Revered Spirit Ash]] will take you to the folder for item descriptions in the DLC. #### Like a wiki, with Backlinks!: The site also functions like a wiki, but instead of writing my own comprehensive articles for complicated subjects, I've tried to quote in-game items so you can see what the game says and draw your own conclusions. The article on [[Deathbirds]] is a great example of my approach. There's also back-link functionality via Obsidian. So you can not only see the outgoing links from the note you're reading, but what other notes link to the page you're on. So at the bottom of the [[Deathbirds]] page, you can see this segment at the bottom of the page, which are all the notes referring TO Deathbirds. Including this page! ![[backlinks.PNG]] A lot of notes are empty right now, but even if a note itself has no text you can still use the backlink functionality. #### Discovering Lore Videos Finally there are notes on some of my favorite Youtube lore creators, and their videos. For videos I'm trying to include a list of subjects the videos cover, and the items referred to in them, that way you can use the backlink functionality above to find videos on whatever subject you're interested in. In the image above, showing backlinks for [[Deathbirds]], you can see links to these videos, among others. - [[It gets weirder (Zullie)]] - [[The Deathbirds and the Ghostflame (Smoughtown)]] - [[The Lore of Elden Ring's Bosses (feat Death's Kindred) (VaatiVidya)]] All video notes have the creator's name at the end, so you can easily differentiate them from other types of notes. #### Contact Me Any feedback or suggestions you have would be very appreciated, and you can reach me at EldenRingDirectory (at) gmail.com.
