The beasts are loyal to their Empyrean, but should their Empyrean reject the path presented by the Two Fingers the shadow will become mad, and become a terrible curse known as a [[Baleful Shadow]]. The first shadowbound beast was [[Maliketh|Maliketh, the Black Blade]], who served [[Queen Marika the Eternal]]. The second was [[Subjects/Characters/Raya Lucaria/Blaidd|Blaidd the Half-Wolf]].
