First time really posting because I stumbled upon something that I haven't seen after several google searches- obviously spoilers, I put the tag, and NSFW for language/context, hope I'm following all the rules. Everyone hates Seluvis. But I have a theory that paints him as a victim rather than the horrible rapist/murderer the game has made him out to be. Basically - Seluvis dies after you go a certain depth into Ranni's storyline, you find him slumped on the floor of his tower. Seluvis also has a little puppet sex dungeon hidden between his and Ranni's rises - if you find it and confront him about it some weird shit can happen, most of us know that. *What is not showing up whenever I search, is that Seluvis is a god damn puppet!* Immediately after I found him dead I went out of his tower and kind of skirted the western edge of the plateau because I heard a beatle. Lo and behold - there's a drop down area right there right above the Manor Lower Level site of grace. The second I dropped down I got some dialogue that was juicy af and creepy af. Pidia, for those not aware - is a merchant who hangs out in that spot. He's a crippled Albinauric who introduces himself as a servant of house Caria, and that his job is to take care of these lothesome puppets (he's got 3 cuckoo soldiers slumped around him). As I was jumping down, he's begging for his life saying "you're *my* puppets" "how could you do this to me" - and some much creepier things about how he "loves" them- use your imagination, and when you get down there you find him dead with 3 cuckoo soldiers that are perfectly still standing around him, and you can loot the Delores the Sleeping Arrow Puppet off him (which is "One of Seluvis's favorite puppets.") The theory: Pidia is the puppet master and he's been driving around our boy Seluvis since before we met him and Seluvis is a complete victim. *However* - I think Ranni is aware that that's not Seluvis - 1. She declines when offered the potion and leaves the towers after which you find "Seluvis" dead - I'm not sure if you get the same death dialogue out of Pidia in that case. 2. She is also a puppet master, fully capable of taking over Pidia's puppets and using them to kill him, IE. I think our girl used him full well knowing what a creep he was, then killed him when she made her move. Thoughts? #reddit
